When working in OpenPlant Modeler and OpenPlant PID - user places a component in PID and the same component in Modeler. Both are synced /updated to PlantSight. Later it is determined the component needs to be replaced with a component of a different type. The component is deleted from the PID and the PID is synced to PlantSight. The same component is then deleted from the model and PlantSight is again updated. Currently, the issue is the component tag remains in Engineering Data Manager and when the new component type is placed, and the existing tag is used, the component is flagged as a duplicate. In day-to-day design churn, this can be a regular occurrence, this is a request to have the user prompted when the last reference of the tag is deleted (modeler, PID, defined in other application) to delete the tag from Engineering Data Manager and all of PlantSight. This will make the process easier to manage and will not require a administrator with higher permissions to purge the remaining reference to the tag.
