Users can navigate from the hierarchy to the 3D model, but not vice versa. Selecting an object in the 3D view does not highlight or locate it in the hierarchy panel in PlantSight right side or left side pane. Users data is getting updated on daily basis. They would like to find select and element from 3D should be highlighted in hierarchy and should also have and option for hiding similar elements at once.
Implement a feature that allows users to:
Select an object in the 3D model view.
Automatically locate and highlight the corresponding item in the hierarchy tree to view its metadata and properties and option to hide all similar elements.
I believe Sameer has already showed that selected components come up in the "browsed components" area of the hierarchy panel. We'll look at when we can address this.
